Kate gave me a beautiful skein of wool a while back which I've been trying for ages to figure out what I can make out of it. I finally decided to have a try at making gloves. I was actually quite impressed with how well they turned out. And they're so beautifully warm, I wore them out in the snow a couple of times and my fingers didn't get cold at all - even after making snowmen and snowballs galore.
And speaking of snowmen and snowballs, we didn't get a lot of snow this winter but we did get one or two days when we were able to get out and play.
Just because they're so cute here's a few piccies of Josh!
We've been into a lot of arts nad crafts stuff lately.
finger painting.
Puppet Theatres
Sensory hop scotch
Playdough and pipe cleaner friends.
Daddy had a birthday of course so we had to make a cake...Now who wouldn't want this birthday cake.!
And here's Lexie and Josh making a stir fry for dinner
And then it was easter. We met up with the easter bunny down at the local park for an easter egg hunt.
The bunny was very good to Lexie and Josh this year, leaving a fun little hunt through the house for them, and lots and lots of eggs.
And finally the warm weather is back - but along with the warm weather comes the lawn - which needs to be mown every single week! Josh is not complaining though, he loves it - now if only we could find a lawnmower in his size we could sit back and enjoy ourselves.
And finally a few more shots of the kids - you know just in case there weren't enough on here!
And we're up to date again.
