Flight over was OK but Lexie absolutely hates wearing the seat belt in the plane and screamed everytime we tried to put it on her, but overall she was pretty good on the flights, the first day in paris however wasn't quite so fun Lexie was sooo tired, and so were mummy and daddy so we wern't coping very well at all. Thankfully that passed and by day two we were all pretty good.
Friday - Andy had to go to work and Lexie and I just pottered around the general area that we were staying in - La Defence. Walked up to the lower platform of the grand arch which lines up with the Arc du Triumph.
After work we headed into town to check out the Arc du Triumph.
Saturday we got up bright and early and headed into Notre Dame, took a look around the Cathedral and were going to go up the towers but line was too long.
We took the Metro down to where you can tour the Paris catacombs and were going to do that only to find out that the line for that was 3 hours and the place closed in about 3 hours so we didn't bother waiting there either but headed up to Montmartre. The walk up to Sacre Coeur was hard work with Lexie in the stroller (and we didn't realise there was the funicular till we got to the top) but it was well worth the view and wandering around Montmartre was fantastic.
We went home for a rest then headed back into the city for dinner again heading for the Eiffel Tour. Was great seeing it all lit up at night, but again the lines were too long for us to want to go up so we only saw it from the ground.

Wow that Grand Arch is huge, very impressive. Although not as aestaetically nice as the Triomphe.
